With this letter I’d like to draw your attention to the “eurofestival zupfmusik 2018”, which will be held in Bruchsal from May 10th to May 13th, 2018, by the Bund Deutscher Zupfmusiker e. V. (German Plucked String Federation, a registered association), and to invite you cordially to take part as an exhibitor.
This Music Festival is held only every four years. This time it will bring together over 1,300 participants from more than twenty countries. All these people want to see for themselves the state of plucked string music and its development internationally. At the same time, Bruchsal will provide an opportunity to exchange opinions and experience about the guitar and mandolin scene. An important element of the Festival - and one that in our experience is especially attractive for you as an exhibitor - is the exhibition of music instruments, printed music, books, recordings, music software, software for running clubs and music accessories, which is held within the Festival.
Obviously we do our best to meet all requirements, and of course our experience with the 2010 and 2014 eurofestival will help us to run things even better than then.
All instrument makers will be able to exhibit in the Alten Rathaus (old town hall - address: Rathausstr. 1). From the Bürgerzentrum (civic centre), where many concerts take place, you can reach this venue easily in around two minutes, by crossing the market place/pedestrian area. The town church, where some of the concerts will also take place, adjoins directly, and these concerts will also encourage concertgoers to visit the exhibition in the Town Hall.
In addition, a lift (c. 1.30m wide and 2.00m high) is available on the unloading side. This will make it easier to transport things needed for the exhibition. We invite all music retailers to present their exhibits in the foyer of the Bürgerzentrum.
